Since my high school days, I have always held an interest in health, nutrition, and exercise. When it came time to attend college, I chose the practical path and studied business management assuming that is where I could easily find a job, post-graduation. However, in the back of my mind, I never imagined myself in a traditional office job. After a summer college course where I learned massage and another course to teach beginner yoga, my interest in holistic health care grew.
Following my studies and a year of working in the US, I set off to live in France after meeting my French husband to be in Colorado. Fast forward thirteen years, I have mastered the French language, meanwhile raising my two children as a stay at home mom with my husband and running a seasonal rental in the Chamonix valley, the epicenter of the French Alps.
Once my two children were both in school, I knew it was time to think about my future that had been put on hold. I returned to my passions that were put on the back burner, massage and nutrition. I completed my studies of Swedish massage and to round out those studies, I immediately started my training in nutrition.
I now offer massages to clients in Chamonix and Argentiere, either at Chamonix hotels or at the client’s preferred location. I also practice as a holistic health coach, helping clients to increase their energy levels naturally. Additionally I work with families suffering from asthma and allergies. I too have a long history of asthma and allergies that I have overcome through various methods. (link to asthma and allergy page) I also have had bouts of low energy (link to low energy), especially when my children were born and later as well. Through nutritional therapy, exercise, sleep and breathing techniques I have increased my energy more than I ever thought possible.
Drawing on my education as a health coach and my training as a massage therapist, I will help you create a completely personalized “roadmap to health” that suits your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and goals.
